Amiibo are a hot commodity in the land of Nintendo. This in turn has created the fascinating world of fan-made, custom Amiibo. While some are as simple as a new color scheme, others add lights to make them glow, and the more ambitious artists have created their very own brand new designs. It’s even better when the creators use their skills for a worthy, charitable cause.

Since the passing of Nintendo President Satoru Iwata in July, a petition began circling the internet in hopes that Nintendo would create their own Amiibo dedicated to Iwata. While this was unsuccessful, this hasn’t stopped fans from creating their own. One creator, GandaKris, has put his own special touch on a Mii Fighter Amiibo, and the results are fantastic.

GandaKris has decided to auction off the Amiibo on eBay (which you can find here), with the winning bid going to the Child’s Play charity. As of this writing, the auction bid has passed $1,800 with 3 days remaining. Whether you’re a fan of Amiibo or not, you’ve got to admit this is a great way to honor the late Nintendo President.

So will you make a bid for this one-of-a-kind Amiibo? Are you part of the custom Amiibo craze? Let us know in the comments down below!
